Latest update from the Mercury 250 Trust

From the Mercury250 Trust Te Whanganui o Hei:

“What a start to 2019 it’s been with the bright bloom of the pohutukawa giving way to the blazing sun over our beautiful beaches this summer.

We hope the year continues as it has begun – filled with whanau enjoying the bounty of the whenua, the moana and each other.

With work beckoning and diaries inevitably filling up for the year ahead, remember to mark 18th – 20th October in your calendar for the official Tuia 250 commemoration; Te Pōwhiri. “

Visit the Mercury250 website for more information on Tuia new and events or the Trust’s Facebook page to keep you informed about all the activities and people in Te Whanganui o Hei and beyond who are involved with Tuia – Encounters 250 commemorations.
